When I was young, I always wanted a dog for a pet. A big and chubby French bulldog preferably. They look so sweet! Unfortunately my parents at that time, didn't agree to this and still don't. They thought dogs would make a mess, poop and pee in the house just like in Marley and me.
I ended up with a bunch of rabbits, which was allright but not what I wanted. After the series of rabbits (I think I had around 5) my sister got a few hamsters. I wasn't really into hamsters though. They don't make for very exciting pets. Poor little guys in their cages, walking in the 'endless' wheel and not going anywhere..
After the hamsters, who sort of escaped after someone through in too much hay in the cage, we had a bunch of bunch of cats. Not our cats but neighbouring cats. We had a pretty big garden where we used to play or sit around in the summer time. Having cats from several neighbours come over to our garden and doing their little dumps was not contructive to my idea of eventually owning a dog.
The cats would literally dump stuff all over the garden, and when my sister and I went tiger crawling through the garden, we would come back in the house with brown arms.
Scaring the cats away
If you are now thinking by yourself: 'Hey, cats always dump stuff in my garden as well!' In that case, you might want to try throwing some meatballs in the garden. 'Meatballs?' Yes, meatballs filled with peppers. ( I have heard of some people doing this and found that cats would not come to their garden anymore.)
Did I eventually get a dog?
Nah, not really. At least not whilst staying at my parents home. Not, since I have moved, I have a dog. A real Bali dog! Luckily this one is trained, and does not do any pooping or peeing around the house, and he's real cute too :)
So why am I telling you this?
If you love animals, and have some 'holy' cute pictures of your pets you should visit my friend's site, Holy Cuteness.. She has a big collection of the 'holy cutest animals' you've seen in your life. Some of these furry crawlers have even been on TV! And, she probably is better at telling cute stories about animals than me.. I just found out that I can't...
